NFL Forecaster Annual Data Updates NFL Forecaster uses game scores, current rankings and accumulated points for and points against to compute new rankings and to calculate point spreads. Thus, at the beginning of each season two files must be updated. (1) In the main data file, the number of points a team has scored, its win, loss and tie record and other data must be set to zero. (2) Also, a new schedule file must be created. These files can be downloaded in an update package at no cost after June 1 of each year. The Forecaster help file, updated with the latest statistics, is also included. All registered users of NFL Forecaster are notified by email as soon as the annual update package becomes available for downloading. Note: The 2009-2010 update package was released on 6 June 2009. If you are a registered NFL Forecaster user and you did not receive an email explaining how to obtain the 2009-10 update package, send us an email requesting the information.
